The L-FLSA1-HX-2X10GE is the Cisco ASR 1000-HX 2-Port 10GE Built-In Port Activation License — the high-speed port unlock for the Cisco ASR 1001-HX and ASR 1002-HX Aggregation Services Routers. This Cisco ASR 1000-HX 10GE port license activates two additional 10GE SFP+ ports on Bay 1 of the chassis via a software-based entitlement. The ASR 1000-HX Series ships with 4x 10GE ports enabled by default — this HX 2X10GE license lets you incrementally unlock additional built-in 10GE ports for high-speed WAN and data center connectivity as bandwidth demands increase.

Also referenced as FLSA1-HX-2X10GE, FLSA1-HX-2X10GE=, or L-FLSA1-HX-2X10GE=, this Cisco ASR 1000-HX 2-port 10GE e-delivery license is a perpetual, Right-to-Use (RTU) software license that unlocks two additional built-in 10GE SFP+ ports on the chassis. Up to 2 licenses per chassis (activating up to 4 extra 10GE ports, for a total of 8x 10GE). Important distinction: if you install 1GE SFP optics in Bay 1 licensed ports, they consume a 10GE license — plan your port assignments accordingly. EPA expansion cards (e.g., EPA-10X10GE) are fully usable without port activation licenses. The ASR 1000-HX port licensing is RTU honor-based — no PAK download enforcement, but licenses must be purchased for compliance. Requires Cisco IOS XE 16.2.1S or later. For 1GE port activation, use FLSA1-HX-2X1GE.

To generate your license file, please send the output of show license udi from your Cisco ASR 1000-HX router to support@switchlicense.com, or leave a message online after placing your order. The license file is tied to your specific device UDI and cannot be transferred to another unit.
